The Domaine des Périès is a fully restored traditional Lauragais farmhouse.
Emblematic of the Lauragais countryside, we have respected the materials and architectural choices with the advice of Bâtiments de France.
Exposed stone plaster with lime in the rooms, highlighting the stones, choice of colors to respect and enhance an ancient rural heritage.

Close to the Canal du Midi

The Domaine des Périès is located 1.5 km from the Canal du Midi, near the Guerre lock.
It is an ideal base for exploring this historic heritage site, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
But the Domaine des Périès is also in the heart of the Lauragais, a historic and cultural region.
Known for its pastel cultivation, it is also called "Pays de Cocagne" (Land of Plenty) and, for its landscapes, "little French Tuscany."
Abbeys, castles, and prehistory are all themes for outings, not to mention the Cathar country with its castles and villages.
The Lauragais is, of course, also known for its gastronomy, including cassoulet, for which Castelnaudary is the world capital.
Staying at the Domaine des Périès means having a choice of a multitude of cultural, sporting, and gastronomic activities.

Large, comfortable rooms

To ensure you enjoy a relaxing break away from it all, we have taken care to ensure that each room offers you peace, comfort, and relaxation.
Pastoreta (meaning "shepherdess" in Occitan) is a large 35 m² en-suite room.
The master bedroom is located in the tower, under the fully restored exposed beams.
The adjoining room has a bed and a desk area.
The large bathroom with bathtub and shower is at your disposal. The toilet is separate. View of the park and swimming pool on one side, and the Montagne Noire on the other.
Passeron (sparrow in Occitan) is located on the ground floor. It is the estate's former stable. Spacious (25 m²), it has a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
