At Domaine des Périès, we believe that a pleasant stay can also be respectful of nature.
Aware of the beauty and fragility of our environment, we are committed every day to adopting simple but essential measures to reduce our ecological impact and preserve our living environment.

Our concrete actions

Energy

• Automatic switching off of lights in passageways.
• Reasonable management of heating and air conditioning with zone-by-zone control.
• Development of renewable energies: biomass (heating) and heat pumps (heating/air conditioning)
• Electricity production via photovoltaic panels

Water

• Installation of flow reducers on taps and showers.
• Towels and sheets changed only on request for long stays, in order to save water and laundry.

Waste

• Selective sorting available to guests.
• Organic waste feeds our chickens.
• Reduction of individual packaging.
• Reuse and recycling of materials whenever possible.

Products and food

• Breakfast consisting of fresh, local and, where possible, organic products.
• Support for local producers and artisans.
• Limitation of food waste through sensible preparation..

Maintenance and landscaping

• Use of eco-friendly cleaning products.
• Planting of local species to promote biodiversity.

Mobility

• Information on walks and activities accessible on foot or by bicycle.
• Provision of bicycle storage (see our page on bicycle facilities).
